| 0:32.3 | Democrats were outraged that Mitch McConnell, when he controlled the Senate, refused to hold a confirmation process |
| 0:38.8 | for Merrick Garland when President Obama nominated Garland when Justice Scalia died in 2016, |
| 0:45.6 | with Obama having almost a year left in office, right? |
| 0:48.8 | That allowed President Trump after his election to name Scalia's replacement. |
| 0:53.8 | But then McConnell did hold a confirmation process for Amy Kavanaugh. and Trump after his election to name Scalia's replacement. |
