The team tweeted out this statement from head coach, Josh McDaniels, and Dave Ziegler, quoting, in part, we have a lot of respect for Derek Carr and what he has meant to the organization for the past nine years. Honestly, listening to Derek Carr in the last couple weeks, he might not feel like he was treated the same, but that's for a different part of the conversation. Peter, let's just dive into this.

1:29.9	So his contract was written that he was guaranteed $40 million by the Raiders if he was on the team 72 hours after the Super Bowl.
