congressman when the House, Senate, and Presidency are controlled by your party,

but just about nothing is getting done, and all the usual rules have been broken.

Hey, it's Michael Barbaro from the New York Times. I'm trying to reach Megan Rodgers.

Yes, she's actually conducting an interview with the congressman.

This week, Republicans in Congress were forced to confront the fact that

after seven years of promising to repeal the Affordable Care Act under a Democratic president,

it seems they won't be doing so anytime soon under President Trump.

It's a confusing moment to be a Republican in Washington.

On the one hand, your party has total control.

On the other, your Republican president came to power without the support of much of Washington,

campaigning against Washington, and looking unlike any Republican to ever occupy the White House.

In the middle of that confusion, our dozens of lawmakers like Tom Rooney,

are representative from Florida. Most people have never heard of.
