A lot of those thunderstorms are for now offshore, but they are going to come onshore. And that's why we've got a flood watch from Thursday through Friday night in New Orleans. But this is not just a New Orleans storm. We're talking about Baton Rouge, Gulfport, Mississippi, all because this disorganized area of thunderstorms has a 40% shot. Right now it's kind of hanging by Apalachicola. It's going to move west. 40% chance of it becoming a named storm, which would be Dexter. Whether it gets a name or not, doesn't really matter. It's going to travel over Mobile, and it's going to have that lopsided moisture with a lot of the thunderstorms happening well west of the center. And so that's why we've got Pascagoula over across to New Orleans and all of southeastern Louisiana on flood watch looking for four to six |
