Quick and efficient. If you celebrity birthdays, before we get to, um, uh, new mom, rumor Willis

is celebrating today. Dan Smires of Dan and Shay, the musical duo, actors Arden Show, Vanessa

Carlton, Steve Carell and Madonna. She's 65 happy birthday folks. And man, I hate to start with

depressing info, but today happens to be the death anniversary for a handful of legendary people.

Aretha Franklin, Babe Ruth and Elvis, they all passed away on August 16th. Isn't that kind of

crazy? Oh, three of them. Let's, uh, let's do our best to keep our living legends safe today, okay?

Amazing grace. All right, let's get going. We always start with the top story. Really, there's a

lot to get through today. Uh, the biggest story is still the new indictment of former President Trump.

He said yesterday that he plans on holding a press conference on Monday, next Monday,

to present a report proving his innocence that's going to come Monday. It seems he's finally ready

to prove that the election was rigged. He said after he says what he has to say, he expects all

charges against him to be dropped. We'll see if the charges aren't dropped. Uh, he does report

to a Fulton County courtroom in Georgia. This one reportedly might be a little different because the

word is we can expect a mug shot to be taken. He has not had his mug shot taken in the other three.

And TV cameras will reportedly be allowed inside the courtroom. That could change, though, but as of

now, that's, uh, that's what they're saying. The former president and all the co-defendants

have until next Friday to surrender. All right, okay, getting into sports here. Uh, another

update on the women's world cup. As of now, while I'm recording this, I don't have an update. I'm

sorry. The, uh, the team from Australia and the team from England are out on the pitch at this

very moment, currently scoreless for what it's worth. Uh, the winner will move on to play Spain
