Live from ABC News headquarters in New York City. This is Good Morning America. We're going to begin with the weather threats right now. Ginger's tracking a lot this morning, including dangerous heat for millions. But first, Ginger, you're tracking Tropical Storm Aaron, threatening to become the first major hurricane of the season. Yes, we've been watching this one for days. And now Tropical Storm Aaron is about 1,400 miles east of the Virgin Islands.

0:54.6

So it's still really far from the Caribbean, but in the next 36 to 48 hours, we should

0:59.7

have our first hurricane way out in the Atlantic.

1:02.5

As it turns to the north, it becomes a major hurricane.

1:05.3

1:39.3

Let's talk about the heat then, the other big headlines.

1:42.3

So from Reno, Nevada, where we've got heat

1:44.8

advisories to Las Vegas and Phoenix in extreme heat warnings, over to Monroe, Louisiana, Jacksonville,

1:50.6

Florida, up to New Hampshire, like Manchester and even Burlington. There are heat advisories in place.

1:55.6

So the heat will be a little above average and to the point where it can be dangerous if you're

2:00.4

exposed for a long time

2:01.5

in a place like Shreveport where it'll feel like 110 or up to Caribou where 95 is possible again today.

2:07.8

And that's cumulative. They had a couple of days breaking records up in parts of New England.
