What is it I exactly what I do?

So I am a professor of natural sciences

and humanities at the University of Wyoming.

So what I do is I work on at the interface

between the natural sciences, the arts

and the humanities in particular,

philosophy and nonfiction creative writing.

This is a lot going on there.

So tell me how tell me how your area of interest

has become fixed on insects.

Well, yeah.

So I was well goes back to my childhood.

I was as a kid, I actually was.

I was fascinated by insects.

And so I got a degree in biology

and pursued a doctorate in entomology.

And so that was all very good and exciting

and worked for 15 years as an insecticologist.

Just fascinated because they are,

they're just incredible creatures.

They're so different than us in so many ways.
