Before we get talking about an actual college football game, that's right.

Max Olson and I, my colleague from the athletic, we watched an actual college football game.

He was in Nebraska. I was in Florida. The game was played in Alabama between a team from Tennessee and a team from Arkansas.

But we all watched it.

And it was on our TV, and it was college football, and it was awesome.

So before we talk about what we took away from Central Arkansas's win against Austin P,

we've got to talk about a little bit of news.

Jamar Chase, LSU-LSUide receiver defending Bolitnikoff Award winner is opting out of this season.

And I tell you what, this one didn't come as a shock to me.

What came as a shock was a few weeks ago when it looked like he was going to play.

Because, you know, if we're talking about the guys that have nothing to prove in college football,

who could go and have enough tape and go into the draft

and don't really need to say anything else,

Jamar Chase would be near the top of that list.

Now, I'd say Trevor Lawrence is near to the top of that list.

He's planning on playing.

Justin Fields might need a little more tape,

but I think people be willing to take a chance on him, quote unquote, chance in the top five.

And of course, he still wants to play.

We'll see when Ohio State can get back on the field, but he certainly seems very adamant about trying to play when they do.
