And I'm your other co-host Brian Park. Yeah and today we're we're talking about a very

very what sorts stigmatizing topic a topic that's a taboo topic. A taboo topic in

Asian culture. Drugs. Drugs. Drugs. Drugs. Drugs. Drugs. Drugs.

But I just want to point out that once we do get talking about it

We're gonna be incredibly open about our drug usage we're gonna say every single bump

I'm going to tell you every single drug I've ever done because I feel like that is not done among Asian people. I mean obviously maybe through with friends but not in Asian families I'm going to be completely

open right right and I you know in my experience in college Asian Americans they take a

lot of recreational drugs.

And that was interesting to me because in contrast to the way we were raised with very strict

Asian parents, you would think that kind of like that kind of recreational drug use wouldn't exist.

But yeah, Asians are out there. They're doing drugs.

But we also want to talk about it because there are also unhealthy relationships to drugs in which drugs are used as a coping mechanism to mask a more deep-seated sinister problem.

And that's very emotionally tied. deep seated sinister problem.
