Hi, good afternoon welcome to the John Gorn podcast. Wasn't necessarily going to make

one today, but their terrible slaughter of the innocence yesterday has made me as a

father completely sick to the pit of my stomach and we need to get things

sorted out.

So I put up two tweets today and they both seem to have hit the mood of the nation.

One of them, I said, not being treated as terror related, this is the Southport attack,

surely a ferocious attack on young innocence who are dancing to Taylor Swift

is the very definition of terror, what is gained by pretending otherwise. It was a terror attack. It wasn't necessarily a

terrorist attack or indeed a terrorist organization that carried out the attack. We don't know, but some madman

going in to a school, a nursery with young kids, three of whom have died, with knives and starting to slash a bow. If that is not to spread

terror, I don't know what is. And also you see, then the authorities make it worse because as per usual, they try to hide the identity of the person who's done it.

Now we know now that this person is 17 years old.

We also know that he came to the country he was born in this country but from Rwandan parents. I'm not going to have a go at immigrants

by the way because I think there's a lot of nonsense talked about this but he didn't

come over on a raft which is what a lot of racist morons were saying yesterday but you can't

you can kind of understand why it all gets a bit fever doesn't it the atmosphere

children have died they could be your

children they could have been my children my grandchildren to be it's the most

horrific thing going and then the authorities tell us it's not an act of terror.

Well yes it bloody is.

And then I've put up another tweet which was this.

Both of these have got massive traction today. Politics and the law are an ass.
