Summary

Danielle has been extremely honest about her struggle with body image and self-acceptance. She was so excited to sit down and ask one of her biggest role models, Sarah Landry (aka The Bird's Papaya) all about her experience and journey towards unapologetic body confidence. The two discuss why a attaining a "goal body" isn't all it's cracked up to be, how they're trying to show up in the world even when they feel uncomfortable, and what they really think makes a person incredibly sexy. Sarah talks about the first time she let her husband really touch her stomach after being a "no-go" zone for so long. Danielle discusses a time when she unintentionally made her daughter self-conscious about her appearance, and what she has since learned from her mistake. Danielle and Sarah also commiserate about how clothing stores have taken the joy and excitement out of shopping, and instead made it an experience filled with exclusion and shame.
