Debra, I got one more piece of information regarding how much money we spent on homelessness versus the fire

department.

In the last segment, I looked on Chat GPT.

That's your new best friend.

That is my new, that's why I call him Mr.

I've got to come up with a more friendly name than that.

But Mr. ChatGPT informed me that as of just two years ago in Los Angeles,

we spent a billion three on homelessness

and only $800 million on the fire department.

All right.

And now you have the Fire Department Union proposing a new half-cent sales tax

and they want a referendum on the ballot.

So I went to chat GPT and asked them another question.

How much money did the city of Los Angeles spend on homelessness in 1965?

Because we had the same amount of firefighters and the same amount of fire stations in 65 as we do 60 years later

nothing there was nothing in the budget presumably some of the homeless people accessed public's assistance
