And I'm Danielle Moody.

And the next time we come on the air after this time, there will be a new president, or at least the election will be mostly completed.

I mean, I think that you're being super optimistic.

But yes, something will have transpired. We will have more information

than we have right now. You know, I don't think that I'm being super optimistic in saying that

for about nine months, Biden has held the largest lead of any presidential contender since Ronald Reagan landslided Walter Mondale.

The number has been extraordinarily consistent across many major, stable, respected polls.

We are just days away from the polls.

And still, the number remains Biden 53, Trump 42,

which aligns with one of the larger truisms of electoral presidential politics that the incumbent

president gets their approval rating at the ballot box.

Trump's approval rating has been 42 for years.

It is extremely stable.

It has not really gone up or down very much the whole time.

And Trump seems to be in line with getting 42 percent, Biden with getting 43 percent. We're seeing in the last few days two

major organizations saying that Texas is now a toss-up and Biden leads double digits in Wisconsin,

almost double digits in Michigan.

We are headed for a shalacking.

Okay.

So let me just start by saying before I push back that I appreciate your optimism.
