Summary

We're traveling back in time with Francesca Beauman, writer, historian, and the world’s leading expert in Personal Ads, to learn about how people “dated” throughout history. We discuss how we got to where we are in dating culture, and how society transitioned from arranged marriages and courting to the casual hookup culture of today’s modern dating world. We learn how advancements like transportation and technology impacted the way people date, and finally we chat about what dating might look like 100 years from now (and what people then think of how we dated in 2021.)

I'm still waiting to hear back from a certain film festival about the movie. We might hear back this week or next week. But you're also going to hear back like a month ago and three weeks ago and two weeks ago. Yeah, we didn't get into the one that I wanted to hear back from a month ago. And then there is one that we're, that we still are waiting on that we might get, you know, hopefully knock on what we get into. It'd be really nice. That's my professional life, just been writing, turned in a new draft of a script, which I'm excited about.
