This devotional address entitled,

We Have Everything, was given on February 10th of 2004 by F. Melvin Hammond,

than a member of the first quorum of the 70 of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I consider it a great privilege to be with you today.

What a wonderful opportunity it is to be with my dear friend and colleague President Cecil

Samuelson and his dear companion, Sharon.

It is such a blessing to have Sister Hammond with us. When we were young, just the touch of her hand caused my heart to beat wildly. And you know, honestly, it still does. Which leads me to this little story. An honest

seven-year-old admitted calmly to her parents that Billy Brown had kissed her after class.

How did that happen?

Gasp the mother.

It wasn't easy, admitted the young lady,

but three girls helped me catch him.

I don't know that that should be a formula for you sisters.

Seriously, Bonnie has been my spiritual inspiration since that day long ago when she encouraged me to go on a mission for the Lord.

Today I thank her for that and for the many other times that she has prompted me to do my very best for the Savior.

I humbly proffer my love to her before all of you.

Would that each of you could find such incredible happiness as we have found

together? Many years ago, in the late fall of the year when I was a 15-year-old boy, my mother and I were returning to our ranch home after a day at school.

Mother taught me at the school, she taught at the school, and she had waited for me to finish
