I hope that one thing that never crosses your mind is,

well, I just won't vote in the local elections.

Because what's the point of even being aggravated

at the decision's local government is making

if you don't actually vote in the elections of local government?

Many people have grown so frustrated and angry

at these decisions that they choose not to vote

because it's so bad.

Anyway, I've seen some polling in the Sheila Jackson Lee election.

You've got Sheila Jackson Lee and everyone else.

And the anybody but Sheila Jackson Lee vote is pretty big.

The candidate most likely to be there is John Whitmer,

Democrat.

Conservative Democrat, far better than the other Democrats,

but a Democrat.

And that's going to be hard for some people to swallow.

The question is going to be, are enough people going to say,

man, in a nonpartisan election where a guy doesn't have a

D behind his name?

Am I willing to show up and vote for somebody that I might not
