Hello my friends and welcome to the WDW Radio Show, your Walt Disney World Information Station.

I'm your host Lume Angelo and this is show number 113 with a week of April 5th, 2009.

This week's show is going to be the last one that I'm broadcasting from the WDW Radio Studios in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

I am taking this show permanently on the road to sunny skies and warmer climates in Florida.

But this week I have something that I think you're going to enjoy.

Because we're going to don our explorers hat and magnifying glass and do another DSI Disney Scene investigation of one of Epcot Center's original and most important pavilions, the land.

We'll explore its beginnings, history and changes through the years as well as its signature attractions.

There's just one segment this week because I'm in the middle of making my move.

If you think back to the origins of Epcot Center and what pavilions early on were most representative of what the goal and message of Disney's first non-magic kingdom theme park might be,

you might immediately think of something like the iconic Spaceship Earth or the goal of connecting people from all over the world in Communicore or maybe even the endless possibilities that imagination brings to all of us.

But if you were to go back and ask the Imagineers that worked on Epcot Center, they might have told you at the time that the most significant and challenging, entertaining, educational and important pavilion in the park was actually the land.
