So this week I invite you to join me on a virtual walking tour of the real world showcase recorded live as I walked the promenade in Epcot. I'm joined by World Traveler Gary Art who sold his house and

travels the world for a living visiting more than 170 countries in the past eight years. He joins me and helps compare how accurate the world showcase representations of the nation's cultures and food are to their original regions.

We also do a little imagining of our own and envision what nations or regions and food we would like to see added to world showcase and then I'll ask you to share your own with me in the comments or on Twitter.

In order to provide guests the level of immersive storytelling that is Disney's hallmark the levels of attention to detail have to be incredibly accurate from the villages in Africa to the Hollywood and its golden age to the mountains of Nepal.

Disney goes through an amazing level of exhaustive research to ensure an amazing sense of realism. This holds true certainly for where I'm standing right now which is in the middle of world showcase and Epcot center.

More than simply a world's fair the promenade affords guests the opportunity to virtually wander the world and experience cultures, food, architecture and people that they might not otherwise have ever encountered.

But just how realistic is world showcase in the past we've done very detailed looks at the United Kingdom and Norway with residents of those countries.

But today I want to take it a step further and compare the other Walt Disney World versions to the real thing. And in order to do so I need to be joined by someone who literally has seen and done almost it all.

No this is this is great. This is my word Epcot. This is my fifth time at Epcot. I haven't been here in about 10 years but since my last visit I've been to 105 different countries, almost 300 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

And I'm actually kind of glad to be back because I've always I've always loved coming to Disney.

Yeah and we've known each other for a few years. We met each other at I don't even know if it's new me the expo or one of the travel conferences.
