Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa recently celebrated its 25th anniversary as the flagship resort in Walt Disney World.

Elegant, opulent, majestic and romantic are just a few of the words used to describe this Victorian themed resort.

This week we're going to add a few more words that list as we explore our top 10 things we love about Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

This past June, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa celebrated its 25th anniversary having opened that same month back in 1988.

Disney's flagship resort captures the essence of a seaside resort during the Victorian era,

ties in gracefully to that same turn of the century sights and sounds of nearby Main Street USA.

Both nostalgic and modern, the resort carries on a tradition of elegance and one that helped open the resort with its black tie opening gala with VIPs,

again, it was 1988 like Bert Reynolds, the governor, the late Frank Wells and several of NASA's original Mercury 7 astronauts in attendance.
