Michael “The AirBNB Guy” is an investor, entrepreneur, CPA, author, speaker, instructor, and iTunes podcast host. His career has spanned from working as a CPA to launching and running an architectural photography studio to purchasing and developing real estate to now running a short-term rental management and education company. He is passionate about helping others create financial independence so they can pursue their passions and leave their mark on the world.           Michael started his career as an auditor at an accounting firm where he specialized in real estate and economic development. tell us how you got started in real estate?

Yeah, for sure. So I was about 25 years old, a few years out of college. My wife and I were living at home at the time saving up as much as we could. And our first property was just a single family

home that we bought. That was in 2012, kind of near the bottom of the market. Sold that a

couple of years later and made a nice chunk of change and kind of rolled that

into the next one and the next one.

And started going down the multifamily path and studying as much as I could and got some

mentors and studying markets.
