Summary

Welcome to the second episode of Waypoint 101, our semi-regular podcast where we, as a group, play through an older game, something we've always wanted to get around to or something worth another visit. Our first series has tackled Sega's Binary Domain, an underrated sci-fi shooter with a story that takes some surprisingly dark turns. We talked about the game's first three chapter last month, and we've returned to discuss the game's conclusion. Join Patrick, Austin, and Rob as we discuss our favorite topic: sad robots.

I'm still kind of working out the format, but we are now in our second episode about

1:06.3

binary domain, our second and last episode. It was a short game. I think we've all played

1:09.8

through it all the way. Jordan, we've patched your clip, pick and rob, Zach, and you both beat binary

1:13.1

domain. Can I suggest an alternate premise for this podcast, which is not about playing old games

1:19.0

and discovering what we think about them, replaying them and kind of out other thoughts? It's more

can we find games to thoroughly waste Rob Zach and his time and then force him to then talk about

the last hour or so of this game on YouTube. It's still, you still watched it. It's still

the last time. Still an hour. So we beat this game. We played through the first three chapters

in the first half, but really catches its wave. It kind of lives up to its potential in the second half.
