Hey everybody Rob Maower here and today we are talking about the potentially made in China long-range single motor model three kind of a mouthful there and then we also have a recap on a third row

But this topic as a whole is not new to us. We knew about a month ago that Tesla had applied for approval to manufacture that variant of the model 3 in China.

But this news has resurfaced today thanks to that Bloomberg article titled

model 3? Well, no, not yet, at least on the EPA cycle. So let's talk about this. Different countries use different

test cycles to measure vehicle range.

So there's the EPA in the US, there's the WLTP and the NEDC internationally.

And of those three test cycles, the EPA in general is going to give you the lowest range and in general is going to give you the most realistic real world range,

while the WLTP and the NEDC test cycles are going to generally show a higher range for the same vehicle.
