And the reason I'm here is because hasn't been done in many decades.

It hasn't been done for a long time, but we are going to win New York.

We are 47 days away from Election Day, and instead of rallying in a battleground state,

Donald Trump was on Long Island last night, vowing to win New York, a state, of course,

that he lost by wide margins in both 2016 and 2020.

We have a lot to get to this morning, and we will begin with the road to the White House.

Yesterday was supposed to be the day that Donald Trump faced sentencing for his 34 felony

convictions in the hush money case. But instead of spending the day in a Manhattan courtroom,

the former president was several miles east,

out of Long Island, holding a rally where he promised to win New York,

a state that he has lost by more than 20 points

in both his previous presidential campaigns.

Trump told the crowd there, he plans to travel soon to both Springfield,

Ohio and Aurora, Colorado. The former president has repeatedly spread debunked claims about

migrants in both of those cities. How about in Springfield, Ohio? They had 32,000.
