1:12.0	We will start with the news. Politics and the infrastructure deal that was announced between the White House and a bipartisan group of senators yesterday.
1:21.0	The president celebrated the deal, but says it's just a start. The framework that was released by the White House allocates nearly $600 billion
1:27.9	to transportation and traditional infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, public transit,
1:33.2	waterways, airports, and to restoring the power grid. To get the deal, Democrats had to concede
1:38.6	investment in climate and other measures like expanded access to child care, education, and
1:43.2	paid family leave.
1:44.5	They're planning to put those measures in a separate budget reconciliation bill.
1:48.5	Hoping to ease concerns among progressives about this, the president said he'll only sign the
1:53.5	bipartisan deal if there's a guarantee that the party's other priorities come right along with it.
