We'll begin with a major defeat for former President Donald Trump. A federal appeals court ruled

yesterday that a judge's order appointing a special master to review documents seized from

Trump's Mar-Lago-Hulman club over the summer should be dismissed. The ruling made by a three-judge

panel of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals lifts earlier restrictions on the Justice Department's

examination of classified documents and other records, as well as allowing investigators to proceed

with the probe more quickly.
