I'm confident that Israel is going to act under the major, the rules of war.

There's a standards that democratic institutions and countries go by.

And so I'm confident that there's going to be an ability for the innocence in Gaza to be able to have access to medicine and food and water.

That was President Joe Biden yesterday on 60 Minutes, as Palestinian civilians in Gaza are in dire need of humanitarian aid.

out of the Israel-Hamas war. United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told reporters yesterday

that Egypt will reopen its border crossing into Gaza for aid. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza

continues to grow. According to the UN, hospitals in that settlement

are expected to run out of generator fuel within 24 hours. This, as the territories 2.3 million people

do not have access to clean running water and are nearly out of both food and medical supplies.

About 600,000 Palestinians have been displaced from Gaza so far after leaving the northern

part of that area in the wake of Friday's evacuation order issued by Israel.

However, a leader of Hamas said yesterday, Palestinians will not leave Gaza to migrate to Egypt. As Gaza braces for a potential Israeli ground assault, senior Biden administration officials are warning their Israeli counterparts to show restraint and avoid mass civilian casualties and a humanitarian disaster that could turn

world opinion against the Jewish state. That's according to two current and one former U.S.
