0:23.5	Jehovah's Witnesses. It's a huge group. I'm just going to read a short bio of you before we jump in for
0:30.2	my listeners. You were raised in New York in Brooklyn, which was their headquarters. I believe
0:36.8	they moved to a compound in upstate New York.
0:40.6	You were raised in it.
0:43.5	You were indoctrinated about Armageddon from childhood, if that's correct.
0:48.5	And you were corporally punished because they really believe you got to beat the know, beat the crap out of your kids to
0:55.1	discipline them properly and not let them have a normal childhood. That's my commentary, sorry.
1:00.9	You are baptized at age 11, which blows my mind because we now know the frontal cortex matures
1:09.7	at 25 or 26, but all this underage asking people to
1:15.4	commit their lives is absurd, in my opinion. You were a member in good standing your whole life
1:23.7	until you formally dissociated yourself in 2007.
1:30.3	But for 11 of those years, from 1995 to 2006, you were an elder in good standing for the Watchtale organization.
1:40.3	And of course, there are many corporate entities that the Jova's Witnesses
1:45.6	used to manage their affairs. You came to realize there were a lot of problems with the Bible,
1:54.0	even though you were raised to believe that you were actually following the Bible and were a good
1:59.5	Christian and all other Christians were evil.
2:02.9	All of the churches were verboten.
2:05.1	You couldn't even go in to visit if your best friend was inviting you.
