I hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday. I'm sure it was filled with the 3-Fs, food, family, and football.

Lots of it over the weekend. We're going to talk college football later in the podcast about the coaching carousel that's been happening in college football.

And obviously, I'm going to have a lot of thoughts about that, but I wanted to bring on a guest to

to our guest. First rant is on baseball. We are now in the last day before there's a potential

lockout. And what's interesting about baseball is a couple things.

We have a lot of activity before the quote unquote lockout.

Again, recording this on Wednesday, December 1st, there's a deadline of tonight to get a CBA

I don't see that happening.

And there is a report and there are statements from Major League

Baseball owners that there's going to be a lockout, Major League Baseball Commissioner, rather,

not owners. And lockout means it's a management tool to try to gain leverage in negotiations

because it's much easier to negotiate. As NFL owners know this, when there is no no CBA when there is no money coming in

where there are no contracts where there are no signings then when there are signings but in the

run-up to this potential and projected and probable lockout what we've seen in baseball is a spending spree, which is really interesting to note,

before this lockout goes into effect where the owners want to reset economically and push the players
