Every day you get in-depth interviews with host Todd Wilkin asking expert guests, substantive, thought-provoking questions on all of the important news and issues of our day.

The expert guests are in culture, law, ethics, philosophy,

theology, and apologetics. Expert guests, expansive topics, always extolling Christ,

issues, etc.

We have to get out of this trap that people have fallen into where they identify truth with feeling and get back to understanding that the best road to truth is faith and reason.

The way people are best manipulated is when they're autonomous.

And this is what we have done to women, is told them to be by themselves, to be autonomous, to be in control in their lives, and not

in any way to be connected to husbands and children. You know, it's important to remember,

Jesus never says that we need to follow his example and die for our sins, at least on the cross.

He's accomplished that. But that doesn't

mean that every day there isn't some dying and rising that happens in the shape of our Christian life.

And in all of these letters, he calls us not to be successful or not to be perfect, but he calls us to be

faithful, to hold on to his promises.

Lutherans in the hospital in Illinois, love, listening to issues, etc.

It is indeed an old Chinese saying often, often mis-translated or perhaps misquoted as,

may you live in interesting times.

The original from 1627 is better to be a dog in times of tranquility than a human in times of chaos.

And we certainly live in times of chaos that often prove very interesting.
