Welcome to the news and why it matters. I am Sarah Gonzalez and Saturday afternoon,

a 33 year old gunman opened fire at an outlet mall in Alan Texas just 25 minutes from

where I sit right now. In dash cam footage obtained from the incident, the shooter drove

his dodge charger up to the front of the store, got out of the car and immediately began

shooting seemingly indiscriminately at a group of mall goers passing by.

Eight victims were killed ranging in ages five through 61 and another seven were injured

before a heroic police officer who happened to be on a call within the mall grounds, engage

the shooter before backup arrived and manage to neutralize him.

And amidst the grief, shock and sorrow, there are obvious questions. How could this happen?

Who would commit such an evil senseless atrocity and how can we prevent people from being

this spiritually sick? But that's not the narrative the mainstream media wanted.

One of the men who said he arrived on scene to provide medical attention to the victims

and who was strangely quite quick to make all the mainstream media circuits purported

to know enough about this case to say that it's not about mental health at all.
