So I'm pretty sure I experienced some subtle racism while I was in Bali, but in a twist of

events it actually ended in a somewhat comical way. So all racism is not created equally.

Well the beginning of it is, but the ending in this case was not.

Okay.

I think I learned two valuable lessons actually on this particular night and one was that and two was when they say you should never meet your heroes that that's true. I learned that as well.

So I'm in Bali and I go out to this spot that we find on Instagram that's supposed to be really cool.

And at first it's cool, I'm chilling and it's like, you walk in and they got food everywhere, it's music playing playing good times randomly a random guy comes up to me and there's this they say that you don't see a lot of black people in

Bali but I saw more than I anticipated to see and this black guy comes up to me and I learned why because he's like oh do you know about black and

Bali and I'm like now what's that so apparently it's a hashtag where they own every

social media platform will promote it so that if you are

black and you're in Bali you can know where like all of the black people in Bali are

kind of getting together.
