Call agronomy, you know, intersection that was going to come my way yesterday. The bears are planning to install Bermuda grass on the field.

A warm season grass in Chicago, soldier field, soldier field to to what's the rationale? What's the historically they year in year out have the worst turf and in all of

the NFL? So I don't know, you know, I guess Kansas City and Indianapolis used this, this coach, Aberflus, I guess is what are the what are the driving forces behind it, which is amazing, you know, that an NFL coach might be able to have the, you know, the crossover agronomy knowledge, but I've reached out to a few turf professionals and

is this like, you know, Thomas Bjorn setting up LaGolf National the way he wants. You have Aberflus creating the turf that's advantage or Notre Dame when they grow it out against Reggie Bush, just trying to get the turf that's advantageous to the bears.

I don't, yeah, I don't get that. I'm trying to understand what the like in December, it'll be dormant, no?

Yeah, I guess I guess one of the things that these turf professionals that I've reached out to have told me is it will go brown, but the thing about it is that these places, you know, replace your turf, they replace their turf two, three times a year, right?

Yeah, so, you know, it'll be interesting. The problem is like they're comparing it to Kansas City and Indianapolis.

The India, India's a dome and they're a lot warmer than Chicago. Indie. Oh, yeah, a lot. Yeah, like in the fall, they just have like a longer fall. I went to school champ. It extends a couple of weeks.

So it'll be, it'll be, I think it'll be way better in the beginning of the year. It'll be faster.

But what a story we have. Yeah, we'll see you know, the big things gonna be in January, you know, what's it like?

Right. I guess that it's aesthetically it won't be great, but if it plays fine, then who cares?

The one thing we don't have to worry about is that the bears will not be playing into the postseason. So we'll not be hosting home games.
