Good morning. Today is Tuesday, June 28th, and I'm your host Julie Morgan.

Ahead of the opening bell today, Dow S&P and NASDAQ futures are up.

The Dow and S&P up half a percent and the NASDAQ up 0.6 percent.

In the earnings spotlight today, Progress Software and Aerovirament.

In our day watch, Nike beats expectations on top and bottom lines for the fiscal fourth quarter.

The footwear and apparel company reported 90 cents in earnings per share against 12.2 billion dollars in revenue for the

quarter. Analysts had anticipated 82 cents and 12.1 billion respectively.

A key bright spot cited by management was the direct to consumer business that was

bolstered by a 7% boost in revenue.

However, on the key issues anticipated by Wall Street in terms of sales in China, supply chain issues, and exposure to inflation

and foreign exchange impacts the company had less optimistic reports.

Sales in China fell by 19 percent, led by a 39% collapse in apparel sales amid lockdowns.

But it's also noteworthy that the board approved a new four-year share repurchase program

that will allow management to buy back 18 billion dollars in

common stock. Now our top stories. The largest banks in the United States

announced their capital return plans after Mondays closed and

after passing the Federal Reserve stress tests last week.

Among the Universal Banks, Morgan Stanley will boost its dividend by 11%.

Bank of America will raise its Q3 dividend by 5%.
