Hello and welcome to the Monday September 9th

0:09.6

2019 edition of Tesla Daily on official Tesla Podcast.

0:13.0

My name is Rob Maurer.

0:14.0

Quite a bit to get into today.

0:15.0

We have some updated news on the Tycon, the VWID3,

0:18.0

some Tesla News as well, so we'll get right into it.

0:21.0

Tesla stock on the day today relatively strong up 1.91% to $231.79 that compared to the

0:28.1

Nasdak down 0.19%. All right we'll start off with an update on the whole

0:32.4

numbering situation as that has developed a little bit further over the weekend.

0:36.0

As we know, last week, Rodin Track reported that a Nerebergering representative said that Tesla had not yet booked a time slot for an official record lab attempt.

Noblering. our participation is confirmed and contracted by the Nobugring."

1:09.7

the no-boegring. So basically they reserve four week days per week for about 16 weeks between

1:15.2

April and October, collectively, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for testing. I don't know if Tesla is one of the companies

1:22.3

that helps reserve that time. I kind of doubt it, but as they stated to Road and Track, they are confirmed to be on the track during those hours.

1:30.0

There was also a Model S with U.S. plates that was spotted somewhat near the track on a trailer and it reportedly had racing tires on it so the combination of US plates and racing tires led to the speculation that perhaps that is the test vehicle. So they've got

1:44.7

track time, maybe a car. And they also have a driver after Elon tweeted about the

1:49.0

model S going to the Nobugring, Nico Rosberg, who was the 2016 Formula One world champion, responded on Twitter saying,

1:55.5

quote, give me a call if you need a decent driver to do the lap, end quote.
