Did you ever notice that silence and bad things go hand in hand? A quiet before a storm, a minute-long

reminder of those who are no longer around, while that momentary pause before you realise you have a knife

sticking out of your belly button. So in that tradition, we're going to be bringing you a number

of short stories full of silence. Noisy evil silence. Stories of murder

gods, people made mute, deprivation tanks and even a story about a, well I want to say a

dog but maybe that should be more like a beast. Anyway, here we have some silence for you. Please
