linked the tribes of the coast to the tribes of the mountains. It existed sometime after 1250 b.c. and lasted until around 200 bc.

That's not to say that it was the first culture of Peru, so let's create a timeline of

those Peruvian lands from the Neolithic period through to the Chavin period. These lands appeared to be

popular throughout human occupation of South America. With the Andes

mountains being so close to the coast, many waterways existed, therefore creating fertile land and easy irrigation opportunities.

These peoples were more reliant on the resources of the sea than some other ancient

Crops such as cotton and gourds were common in this area and these two crops could be used together for the benefit of gathering other resources.
