All right. Hello. Welcome back. Chase Thomas podcast taping this on a Wednesday afternoon. First timer voice of the Colorado Buffalo's. Mark Johnson is here. Mark, good afternoon, sir. How are you?

I'm good. First time. Be gentle. I'm, you know, I'm not used to this broadcasting thing.

So I'm promising that you'll lead me through. And I'm sure you'll do a great job.

I have a hard time believe in that, Mark. I have a hard time. How many games do you have you called? Do you keep track or did you used to and you stopped?

You know, I never have. The just retired sports information director here at Colorado

threw me that number of me last year one time. I've been here now 19 seasons. And so you figure,

you know, there's 12 football games a year over 19 years. I mean, you know, just under 240, I guess. And you figure like 12 football games a year over 19 years I mean you get out just

under 240 I guess and you figure about 35 basketball games a year that's going to be another

almost 700 so that's just in Colorado right of coming here of course I was at Syracuse

and then it was at Illinois State and North Dakota and so yeah it said the number's getting up there

and all that means is I'm getting old do you know how long you want to do it do is it one of those because it just feels like

one of those jobs you just why not like it's it's just fun and you just want to keep doing it

yeah there are there a lot of guys well in fact the guy that preceded me here Larry

Zimmer who I worked with for 12 years he moved over to the number two chair and football

that I got here in 2004.

Zim retired.

Let's see.

He was, what, 80, 81, roughly, I think, in that bullpark when he retired.

I'm not sure I'm going that long.

I'll be honest.

I stay all the time to my wife and my kids.
