Now, I don't even know where to start with summing up this week's segment with my colleagues, Liam Proud in London,

John Foley and Annie Somancy in New York.

They've been covering this wacky situation where a company, called GameStop,

that by all rights looks to be going out of business has shot absolutely through the moon.

In what looks like a form of financial market populism, it appears the little guys, as it were, are sticking it to the big guys by using options to pump up the game retailer shares,

then forcing the big investors betting against it to go out and buy

the stock and cover their positions.

It's not an isolated incident either.

Something's happening in Europe as well.

And somebody is definitely going to get hurt.

That's the one thing I can guarantee you.

After that, I chat with Jeff Goldfarb, our Asia editor, Melbourne, about Australia's attempts

to hold the first tennis grand slam tournament of the year, and a spat brewing between the government
