Hi this is Tom Rosenbar and I've got a sneak peak just for Facebook fans and

Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast listeners. It's our new iPhone app. It's an

incredible resource that you can carry around in your pocket.

Let's take a look at it.

So you get into the app, you just click on the icon,

loads all the video and all the animated knots

so they're resident on your phone or your iPod touch and you're presented with the home screen.

And let's start with the casting.

So you can see there's a video icon there so we know we've got some videos there.

And you have the basic cast getting started

roll cast casting into the wind let's look at let's look at something like a

basic cast so the roll cast click so the roll cast.

Click on the roll cast.

And you'll be presented with a description of the roll cast here,

some still images that show you how it's done and then you'll notice at the top there's a video icon and if you click on that

you'll be presented with audio and video of Trule Myers, the director of the Orvis

Fly Fishing Schools, doing a roll cast and describing the roll cast just as he does in the in the

the orbit fly fishing schools.

The teacher the roll cast is to give the flylight needs to stay in contact with the surface of the water. I'll go back.
