Hi, I'm Tim Doten with the Orvis Company. We're here on the banks of the Salmon River to talk to you today about our new pack and travel Sonic Seam waiters. It's a very unique waiter. We're utilizing a patent pending process where we actually weld the fabric together as opposed to sewing it.

What's the advantage?

0:26.8

But when you weld fabric together, it's immediately waterproof.

0:30.3

As opposed to when you sew it, you're punching a whole bunch of holes in it,

These waiters weigh just a little over two pounds in a size large

1:20.0

and pack down into a stuff stack just a little smaller than a loaf of bread.

So if you travel a lot, you're concerned about weight,

1:26.6

you're packing a bag to go on an airplane and you've got to make that weight restriction,

1:30.3

this is an ideal choice.

1:32.2

Made from a three layer very breathable fabric the nylon
