0:00.0	What's up everybody? Welcome back to the show. I did a video when I was in New York last week and after I posted that I had several people ask me if I could do a tutorial on how I'm doing color grading in video and I'd be happy to do that. I am using an application that is free. It's called
0:14.2	DaVincie Resolve 12 and it is amazing and this is a good day to show that to you
0:18.0	because I'm in the office doing some editing for Artis series videos.

0:23.6	Devinche Resolve. Okay so we're going to talk about Devinche Resolve 12
0:27.2	today and what I want to do is give you a very basic overview of how
0:31.2	DaVinche Resolve works and so this is kind of targeted at
0:34.3	complete beginners. If you guys are interested in seeing me do some more in-depth

0:44.7	Now, DaVinche Resolve is made by a company
0:46.8	called Black Magic Design, and Black Magic
0:48.6	have been around for a long time,
0:50.2	and they're mainly knows a hardware company.
0:51.9	They make things like capture cards,
0:54.2	these cool control surfaces like you see in this picture here
0:57.1	and they make cameras now as well.
0:59.1	And they also have this application
1:01.8	called DaVinche Resolveolve which is a very powerful and
1:05.2	very versatile color grading application design for video and it also has a
1:09.8	full-fledged video editor in it now too so you really can use this for your entire
1:14.0	production workflow and it's absolutely free and that's the best part and so if you're
