It's not very often in this business that you make predictions about a big day and several things going on about how you think

it's all going to play out, and you bet a thousand.

So you'll have to excuse me if I trot around the bases and wave to the stands after an

unbelievable Tuesday where everything I thought would happen happened exactly as I thought

it would happen.

What a day to be all of us. And thanks for listening

to KKHI. This is going to be a fun one. As J.D. Vance just mops the floor with Tim Walls and most

surprisingly, of all, it's not that J.D. Vance knows all the issues. It's not that he nailed it

and won the debate on substance. His demeanor was absolutely perfect.

He couldn't have been more kind. He couldn't have been more empathetic. And there was a moment where

he said to Tim Walls in the debate that nobody else is talking about that I thought was

unbelievable, where Walls mentioned his 17-year-old son at one point had seen

at I think he said a youth camp or something shooting or violence or something like that.

And after the two minutes was up and Walls came out, J.D. Vance says, I'm really sorry to know that.

I didn't know that about your 17-year-old. And Tim Wall said, thank you. And he said,

Christ be with you. And it was just an unbelievable moment. And I think it resonated with a lot

of people seeing at home. I don't think it resonated much with the media and the pundance and

the people that will have commentary on how the debate went. But it was one of those moments like,

wow, this really is a good man.
