The sad news that Victoria Wood died.

And I think in our own way, we all remember little bits of her that we liked, the shows that we like, dinner ladies, the cast of people that she assembled, who adored working with her.

She worked with them all over so many years.

They'll all be suffering today, none more so than her glorious children and the family that she leaves behind.

It's always sad when people die, but when they die at the age of 62, you kind of feel as though we've been cheated.

But they're even more cheated.

So our thoughts lie with the family today and her millions of fans around the world for whom she was, the original comedian, the woman who stood up there by herself and managed to hold
