Dr. Hanson, welcome. Thank you for having me, Harry. Listen, it's, you're a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, but I think at this point, the Hoover

Institution describes themselves as we're the ones who have a senior fellow who's

Victor Davis-Hanson.

You've been out there a lot recently talking about current events in your wonderful way.

Things are so crazy right now.

I thought if we could possibly get you on the program, it'll be an encouragement to a lot of people.

So what do you see?

There's so much to say, but begin wherever you like.

Well, I think the protest over the death of George Floyd then morphed into splinter groups and itself went radical and often violent.

And now it's holistic.

And by that I mean, it's entered, if I could use the historical analogy, a 1792 to 1794, Jacobin of terror movement. And by that I mean

everything is on the table. We have, I never imagine that NPR would be telling listeners to

decolonize their library or there would be movements of women to shave their heads so they wouldn't have

non-African American hair, or they wouldn't privilege their whiteness.

Not everybody knows what you were referring to with the NPR comment. So the sake of my audience,

tell them of the horror to which you just alluded.
