Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show Midday Update for Monday, November 11th.

Happy Veterans Day to all those who have served this great country of ours. It's because of folks

like you and our ancestors for what they've done for this country that we're able to live

in the land of the free. Obviously, because of the brave, them being the brave for all that they've done for this

country, like I just said, allowing us the freedoms of speech, the right to bear arms and

everything they've fought for for this great country. And we are forever in debt to them and owe them

a great deal of gratitude for all that they've done in this great country.

Some news today, President Trump hard at work, very hard at work, not even a week after winning

the election, getting ready to staff up his administration, naming Susie Wiles, the first

female chief of staff in history as his chief of staff. President Trump also announcing

he'd like Eli Stefanik to be the ambassador to the UN. Tom Holman, a great pick for his borders

are for all those you who watched Lou for years. You'd know that if Lou were alive still, Tom

Holman would be his pick to run the border down there. President Trump also asking Lee Zeldon,

a former congressman from New York, to head up the EPA. So these are just some of the few that

have already come in of people that he'd like to run those positions in his next administration.

Looking over to the elections who have still have not been called, the balance of

power for the House of Representatives is still outstanding. We're waiting for a clear winner there.

Right now that Republicans are holding 214 safe seats, Democrats 203, 18 still undecided. There still

are a few races that have been yet to be cold.

Imagine that, folks.

Almost a week since the election, and we still have congressional districts with

hundreds of thousands of people in it, not millions, like we saw the election night

...
