Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, how are you? How are you? I wish so much that I could just have some of

you over here, all of you over here. One at a time though, to my house and that we could

talk over a cup of tea and I could hear what you're going through and what you're bearing

and how you're doing because that's what I wish you could do for me. I have just been here

and I you know I think that probably not being in a place where you can have social and emotional

and community interaction with people, not to be in a place where you can go out is very unhealthy.

I was talking to Nathan today and he said that he had read an article that said that suicide and

domestic violence is getting higher. And of course it is because all of our expectations of life

have been changed. All of our financial issues, none of us know what is ahead, none of us know what

we can do. And we are all believe it or not, sinful people, which means you're a little bit self-absorbed,

so is whoever you're living with and all of you are depleted. So I just thought I would talk to you

today a little bit about how profoundly important it is and it is a necessity, it is not frivolous

for all of us to find a way to escape or to take time away or to hide or to give ourselves a break.

I love that Jesus said come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while. For there are

many people coming and going. And it's the funniest thing, again I was talking to Nathan today,

I have been talking to my kids so much as a matter of fact. It is so funny but we are all close friends

but now with them not having as many people to talk to, sometimes I will like today. I had a friend

who called out of nowhere that is from far far away and then I had another friend who dropped by
