One of my heroes, actually, I didn't tell him this because he'll hear it right now.

But one of my heroes, because he wrote a book that is actually the Bible of homicide investigation.

You see the cover there,

tactics, procedures, and forensic techniques,

and it's into the fifth edition.

And his name is Lieutenant,

squad commander, Vernon Geberth.

And he's taught all over the country, all over the world.

And this book has been used as a guide for investigators throughout this nation.

I certainly used it.

I used it when I taught college.

And it's that informative.

And it's been, things have been stolen from this book too believe it or not there's been

some grand larceny where some police departments have stolen his tactics have stolen his

his his checklists even you know he has this book here the checklist and field guide and all they do

is they just you know sprinkle a little NYPD dust on it and put their

name on it or put the NYPD emblem on it. And Vernon Geberth, squad commander, is not mentioned in it.
