In the 1930s, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt addressed the nation through a series of radio

broadcasts known as the Fireside Chests.

His aim was to reassure the common man that our society would recover from its troubled

times.

Well we're far from 1930 and I deal with a different kind of fire.

For a new era of worldly frustration, we offer a fresh conversation.

Here we go, Fireside Chatters, doing what we do from sunny San Diego, I'm Greg Carlwood.

And we have no shortage of disturbing data about the dark and unfortunate reality that much

of this world is run by psychopaths, eugenicists and billionaires who simply think there are

too many of us and that reducing those numbers is a worthwhile investment.

Privileged elite that consider the general public to be expendable and need of their

management and subject to whatever practices and protocols they deem necessary.

And while most people have no problem looking back through other periods of history and

recognizing this reality, whether it be tyrannical kings and dictators, Nazi scientists or slave

traders, somehow the majority have convinced themselves of the convenient delusion that

such mindsets and circles of power are all in the past.

Unfortunately with very little accountability for previous atrocities and a lot of the

same families, organizations and corporations still running the big machine, there is little

to no evidence of some new altaristically.

And sadly today's guest Vera Cherov knows this all too well.
