headed to the moon. Lunar orbit with Bob Zimmerman, he keeps the website behind the

aircraft and so forth right now because lots of stuff is going on. Here Akura R1 is the

first privately funded privately built privately owned lunar lander now in orbit around the moon.

This past week the company in Lawrence is called I-Space. It's based in Japan.

Earlier this week they released their first picture taken from lunar orbit by Akura R1.

It's an R1 because Akura is a series of missions and is an Akura R2 coming up next year.

This spacecraft has a bunch of payloads on it that are that brought space on the spacecraft from I-Space.

That's having to make money. One of which is the United Arab Emirates Rashid Rover.

So if you know of it, it's got this great picture of the lunar surface. There's a blue tint to the picture which I think is just processing.

But nonetheless they were able to point accurately and very precisely the land.

They were launching December. They took a very roundabout course to get into lunar orbit.

The landing in Atlas Crater which is on the northeast quadrant of the visible side of the moon is scheduled on some time in April.

They're going to be in orbit for a while. I think they're going to buy a decent reconnaissance and some planning before they actually do the landing.

They succeed to big deal because it's a privately financed and a full profit.

Of course the United Arab Emirates will be a big deal because they will have a rover on the lunar planet.

Basically into the first world rankings of space exploring countries.

Here more cool stuff from space. Zhurang is the rover that the Chinese sent to Mars a few years ago.
