Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode our host, Ally Yost, reads the Word of God in the book of Proverbs. We started to read Proverbs in episode two of season four, "We Have The Key To Life" and we are continuing to read through it starting in Proverbs 25. As followers of Jesus, we are called to treat everyone with unconventional compassion and love and the Lord blesses us when we do so.
"If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord will reward you." Proverbs 25:21-23

| 1:19.5 | that's okay. You can definitely just listen to the Word of God. But like I said before in other |
| 1:24.0 | episodes where we just read scripture, I would advise, and I think it would be the most |
| 1:28.9 | effective if you're actually reading a Bible. So I know it's easier to just have somebody kind of |
| 1:33.3 | read it to you and feel like you got your dose of the day, but please don't count this as your |
| 1:38.4 | quiet time with the Lord. Don't count this as your time of being in your Bible. |
| 1:47.3 | Of course, it's an honor that I get to read it to you guys. |
| 1:51.3 | And, you know, any way we can take the Word of God, I mean, we'll take it. |
| 1:53.0 | So it's better than nothing. But also, I really think it would be great for us to just be intentional and open it and read it and feel it and look at it and underline it |
